Security Mesh
Perforated stainless steel mesh provides an impenetrable barrier for the doors. The perforated holes bring the effect of a slightly tinted window view and complete security.
Stainless Steel Security Mesh is used where further security for the door is needed, or where the door design is of a more open pattern.

Material thickness:
Thinner materials typically perforate easier and faster, and are often less expensive. The right material thickness provides sufficient strength to the product while allowing the perforating of the desired hole size.
Hole size:
In general it is advisable to use a hole size larger than the metal thickness. The closer the hole size and material thickness come to a 1 to 1 ratio, the more difficult and expensive the process is. Dependent on the material type, smaller hole size to material ratios can be achieved. Contact your Sales Representative to discuss your special requirements.
Hole shape and pattern of the security mesh:
It is more economical to choose one of the available patterns, although special hole sizes and patterns can be accommodated at additional cost.

Expanded Mesh
Expanded metal can be used in many metal works and it is determined from the following terms:
1. Strand: Form the sides of the expanded metal design opening
2. Bond: Where the strands intersect
3. SWD: Short Way of the Design □ is the distance from the middle of the bond on one side to the middle of the bond on the opposite side.
4. LWD: Long Way of the Design □ is the distance across the largest dimension measured at the center.
5. SWO: Short Way of the Opening □ is the width of the opening of the shortest side of the design. SWO does not include the strand width.
6. LWO: Long Way of the Opening □ is the length of the opening of the longest side of the design. LWO does not include the strand width.
7. Open Area: The total area of the design openings divided by the total area of the sheet or roll of expanded metal and is expressed as a percent.

Perforated Filter Tube
Perforated metal tube is one of the basic filter elements. The perforated tube provides structural support for other types of filter media. Perforated tube alone should be considered for basic straining applications. It is very durable and easily backwashed.
Perforated Metal:
Perforated sheets are supplied in standard commercial size 1000 x2000 mm, thicknesses from 0,3 mm up to 10 mm and perforation from 0,3 mm up to 100 mm. Perforation range: round, square and rectangular holes.
Usually holes diameter can not be lower than thickness.
Usually the round opening layout is at 60°. Squared and rectangular holes, instead, are aligned.

Mesh Panels
The wire forming mesh panels are treated with the process of galvanizing, which adds a thick layer of zinc to the wire. This way, the zinc coated mesh panels have better corrosion resistance.
Mesh panels can be zinc coated or plastic coated. Galvanized zinc coated mesh panel is generally used in reinforcement while plastic coated mesh panel is mostly used in fencing systems as fence fabrics.
